As a Security Officer Full Time Rover in Fredericksburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal in a healthcare location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. In this unarmed role, you will contribute to a caring environment through teamwork, integrity, and a reliable, people-first approach while responding to routine site needs with agility and professionalism.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with staff, visitors, and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas, helping to manage access, observe visitor activity, and document security-related concerns.
• Support daily operations by completing routine reports, recording incidents, and relaying important information regarding security-related matters to supervisors and/or site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Preferred to be able to lift more than 20 pounds.
• Preferred to be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
