Required. Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school or possession of a General Equivalency Diploma (GED) certificateOne (1) year of experience in a maintenance parts warehouse working with the receipt, storage, and shipment of maintenance parts and supplies, in a supervisory role. Possession of an appropriate, valid motor vehicle operator's license with a good driving record. May be required to work an evening and/or night shift on a regular or rotating basis, accept call-back overtime or regular overtime, and/or agree to assume an emergency call-out list status. Knowledge of methods and practices of warehousing, distribution, and inventory controls methods; knowledge of FCPS policies referring to warehouse distribution. Knowledge of warehouse safety and accident prevention methods and practices. Ability to operate a truck and to make deliveries of merchandise. Ability to supervise and train subordinate warehousing staff. Ability to keep records and prepare budget requests and reports. Ability to utilize automated data processing systems and supporting software to manage distribution and inventory, if required.
